आ नूनमश्विना युवं वत्सस्य गन्तमवसे । प्रास्मै यच्छतमवृकं पृथु च्छर्दिर्युयुतं या अरातयः ॥
Transliteration
ā nū́nam aśvinā yuváṃ vatsásya gantám aváse | prā́smái yacchatam avŕ̥kaṃ pr̥thú chardír yuyutáṃ yā́ arā́tayaḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ അശ്വിനൗ, ഇപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും വത്സന്റെ സഹായത്തിനായി വരുവിൻ. വൃകവും (ചെന്നായ/നരി) തകർക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത വിശാലമായ അഭയം അവനു നല്കുവിൻ; ആക്രമിക്കുന്ന വൈരശക്തികളെ അകറ്റി ഓടിക്കുവിൻ.
