प्रेष्ठं वो अतिथिं स्तुषे मित्रमिव प्रियम् । अग्निं रथं न वेद्यम् ॥
Transliteration
préṣṭhaṃ vo áti-thiṃ stuṣé mitrám-iva priyám | agníṃ ráthaṃ na védyam ||
Translation
ഞാൻ നിങ്ങള്ക്കായി പ്രേഷ്ഠമായ അതിഥിയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നു—മിത്രനെപ്പോലെ പ്രിയനായ—അഗ്നിയെ; യജ്ഞയാത്രയിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുകയും ഉപയോജിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യേണ്ട രഥംപോലെ.
