त्वामिद्यवयुर्मम कामो गव्युर्हिरण्ययुः । त्वामश्वयुरेषते ॥
Transliteration
tvām íd yáva-yur máma kā́mo gavyúr híraṇya-yuḥ | tvām aśvá-yur éṣate ||
Translation
ഹേ സോമ, നിന്നെയേയാണ് എന്റെ കാമന അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നത്—ഗവ്യു: പോഷണത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണതയ്ക്കായി; ഹിരണ്യയു: പ്രകാശകിരണങ്ങൾക്കും ഹിരണ്യസമമായ പരിപാക്വ ദ്രവ്യത്തിനുമായി. അശ്വയു: വേഗശക്തികളെ തേടുന്ന ഇച്ഛാശക്തിയും നിന്നെയേ തേടുന്നു.
