स मन्युं मर्त्यानामदब्धो नि चिकीषते । पुरा निदश्चिकीषते ॥
Transliteration
sá manyúṃ martyā́nām ádabdho ní cikīṣate | purā́ nidáś cikīṣate ||
Translation
വഞ്ചിക്കപ്പെടാത്ത അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മന്യു (ക്രോധം) തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് അതിനെ അടക്കിവെക്കുന്നു; അത് ഉദിക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പേ തന്നെ നിദ് (വൈരഭാവം/ശത്രുപ്രേരണം) പോലും തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു.
