इन्द्रं प्रत्नेन मन्मना मरुत्वन्तं हवामहे । अस्य सोमस्य पीतये ॥
Transliteration
índraṃ pratnéna mánmanā marútvantaṃ havāmahe | asyá sómasya pītáye ||
Translation
പ്രാചീന മന്മൻ (ആകാംക്ഷയുടെ മനസ്)കൊണ്ട്, മരുത്ഗണസഹിതനായ ഇന്ദ്രനെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഹവാമഹേ—ഈ സോമത്തിന്റെ പാനത്തിനായി; പഴയതും സത്യവുമായ ബലം ഞങ്ങളിലേ വീണ്ടും ജാഗരിക്കുവാൻ.
