अच्छा नः शीरशोचिषं गिरो यन्तु दर्शतम् । अच्छा यज्ञासो नमसा पुरूवसुं पुरुप्रशस्तमूतये ॥
Transliteration
ácchā naḥ śīráśociṣaṃ gíro yantu darśatám | ácchā yajñā́so námasā purūvásuṃ purupraśastám ūtáye ||
Translation
ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്തുതി-വചനങ്ങൾ ദീപ്തജ്വാലയുള്ള, ദർശനീയനായ (അഗ്നി)യിലേക്കു നീങ്ങട്ടെ. നമസ്കാരപൂർവം ഞങ്ങളുടെ യജ്ഞങ്ങളും ബഹുവസു—സമൃദ്ധിധാരി, ബഹുപ്രശസ്ത—രക്ഷയ്ക്കായി അവനിലേക്കു പ്രവഹിക്കട്ടെ.
