कर्णगृह्या मघवा शौरदेव्यो वत्सं नस्त्रिभ्य आनयत् । अजां सूरिर्न धातवे ॥
Transliteration
karṇagṛ́hyā maghávā śauradevyó vatsáṃ nas tribhyá ā́nayat | ajā́ṃ sūrír ná dhā́tave ||
Translation
കർണഗൃഹ്യാ, മഘവാ—ഉദാര ദാതാവ്—ശൗരദേവ്യ, വീര-ദേവനോട് ഭക്തനായവൻ, ത്രിവിധ ആവരണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് നമ്മുടെ കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ—സൂരിയെപ്പോലെ—ഒരു അജാം (ആട്)യും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
