पर्षि दीने गभीर आँ उग्रपुत्रे जिघांसतः । माकिस्तोकस्य नो रिषत् ॥

parṣi dīne gabhīra āṃ ugraputre jighāṃsataḥ | mākiḥ tokasya no riṣat ||

ഹേ ഉഗ്രപുത്രേ (ശക്തിമാന്റെ പുത്രി), താഴ്വരയിലും ഗഹനമായ ആഴത്തിലും ഞങ്ങളെ കടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുപോവുക; ഞങ്ങളെ വധിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ തോക്കിന്‍ (സന്തതി) ആരും ഹാനി വരുത്തരുതേ.
