उज्जातमिन्द्र ते शव उत्त्वामुत्तव क्रतुम् । भूरिगो भूरि वावृधुर्मघवन्तव शर्मणि भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः ॥
új-jātam indra te śáva út tvām út táva krátum | bhū́rigo bhū́ri vāvṛdhur mághavan táva śármaṇi bhadrā́ índrasya rātáyaḥ ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, നിന്റെ ശവസ് ഉയർന്നു വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു—ഉയരുക നീയും, ഉയരുക നിന്റെ ക്രതു, കാര്യസാധകമായ പ്രജ്ഞാ-സങ്കൽപം. ഹേ മഘവൻ, നിന്റെ ശർമണിയിൽ—ശാന്തിയിലും ആശ്രയത്തിലുമ—സമൃദ്ധി കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവർ വളരെ വർദ്ധിച്ചു. ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ദാനങ്ങൾ മംഗളകരമാണ്.
