Transliteration
upa-hvaré girīṇā́ṃ saṃ-gathé ca nadī́nām | dhiyā́ vípro ajāyata ||
Translation
പർവതങ്ങളുടെ ഉപഹ്വരങ്ങളിൽ—സമീപമുള്ള താഴ്വര-ആവരണങ്ങളിൽ—നദികളുടെ സംഗമസ്ഥാനത്തും, ധീ (അന്തര്ദൃഷ്ടി)യാൽ വിപ്രൻ (ഋഷി) ജനിക്കുന്നു.
