Sukta 8.59
इन्द्रावरुणा यदृषिभ्यो मनीषां वाचो मतिं श्रुतमदत्तमग्रे । यानि स्थानान्यसृजन्त धीरा यज्ञं तन्वानास्तपसाभ्यपश्यम् ॥
índrāvaruṇā yád ṛṣíbhyo manīṣā́ṃ vā́co matíṃ śrutám adattam ágre | yā́ni sthā́nāny asṛ́janta dhī́rā yajñáṃ tanvā́nās tápasā́bhy àpaśyam ||
ഹേ ഇന്ദ്ര-വരുണാ, ആദിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ ഋഷികൾക്ക് മണീഷാ—പ്രേരിത ചിന്ത, വാചോ മതി—വാക്കിന്റെ മനസ്, ശ്രുതം—ഗ്രാഹക ശ്രവണശക്തി—ഇവ നൽകിയപ്പോൾ; അപ്പോൾ ധീര ഋഷികൾ സ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; യജ്ഞം വിപുലീകരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ തപസാ—അന്തര്താപംകൊണ്ട്—അതിനെ ദർശിച്ചു.
