Sukta 8.57
पनाय्यं तदश्विना कृतं वां वृषभो दिवो रजसः पृथिव्याः । सहस्रं शंसा उत ये गविष्टौ सर्वाँ इत्ताँ उप याता पिबध्यै ॥
panā́yyaṃ tád aśvinā kṛtáṃ vāṃ vṛṣabhó divó rájasaḥ pṛthivyā́ḥ | sahásraṃ śáṃsā uta yé gáviṣṭau sárvāṃ ít tā́n úpa yātā píbadhyai ||
ഹേ അശ്വിനൗ, നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്ത ആ കൃതി പ്രശംസനീയം—ദിവ്യവിശാലതയിലും ഭൂമിയിലും വൃഷഭനെപ്പോലെ ബലവാൻ. ആയിരം സ്തുതികളും, ഗവിഷ്ടി (കിരണം/ഗോ)യെ തേടുന്നവരും—സോമപാനത്തിനായി, അവരെയെല്ലാം തന്നേ സമീപിച്ചു വരുവിൻ.
