अयुद्ध इद्युधा वृतं शूर आजति सत्वभिः । येषामिन्द्रो युवा सखा ॥
Transliteration
ayúddha íd yudhā́ vṛtáṃ śūra ā́jati sátvabhiḥ | yeṣām índro yúvā sákhā ||
Translation
ആയുദ്ധൻ (നിരായുധൻ) എന്നു തോന്നിയാലും, യുദ്ധത്തിലൂടെ അവൻ ചുറ്റിപ്പൂട്ടുന്ന തടസ്സത്തെ പിന്നോട്ടുതള്ളുന്നു; ശൂരൻ തന്റെ സത്ത്വബലങ്ങളാൽ പാഞ്ഞുചേരുന്നു—അവർക്കു ഇന്ദ്രൻ, സദാ-യൗവനനായ, സഖാ-മിത്രമാണ്.
