हारिद्रवेव पतथो वनेदुप सोमं सुतं महिषेवाव गच्छथः । सजोषसा उषसा सूर्येण च त्रिर्वर्तिर्यातमश्विना ॥
hāridravéva patatho váned úpa sómaṃ sutáṃ mahiṣéva vā́va gacchathaḥ | sajóṣasā uṣásā sū́ryeṇa ca trír-vartír yātam aśvinā ||
വനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രണ്ടു മഞ്ഞപ്പക്ഷികളെപ്പോലെ പറന്നു വരുവിൻ; പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുത്ത സോമത്തിങ്കലേക്ക് രണ്ടു മഹാബലവാനായ കാളകളെപ്പോലെ ഇറങ്ങി വരുവിൻ. ഉഷസ്സിനോടും സൂര്യനോടും ഏകസുരത്തിൽ ചേർന്ന്, ഹേ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ പഥത്തിന്റെ ത്രിവർത്തനത്തിലൂടെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു വരുവിൻ.
