रश्मीँरिव यच्छतमध्वराँ उप श्यावाश्वस्य सुन्वतो मदच्युता । सजोषसा उषसा सूर्येण चाश्विना तिरोअह्न्यम् ॥

raśmī́ṃr iva yacchatam adhvarā́ṃ úpa śyāvā́śvasya sunvató mada-cyutā | sajóṣasā uṣásā sū́ryeṇa cā́śvinā tiroáhnyam ||

ഹേ മദച്യുത അശ്വിന്മാരേ, ആനന്ദരസം ഒഴുക്കുന്നവരേ, കിരണങ്ങൾ യജ്ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു ചേർന്നുവരുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ അധ്വരങ്ങളിലേക്കു സമീപിക്കുവിൻ—സോമം പിഴിയുന്ന ശ്യാവാശ്വന്റെ അടുക്കൽ. ഉഷസ്സിനോടും സൂര്യനോടും സഹചാരികളായി, ദിവസത്തിന്റെ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ആവരണം കടന്ന്, നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹായത്തിന്റെ നേരായ പ്രകാശം കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ.
