ā́ tvā hotā́ mánurhito devatrā́ vakṣad ī́ḍyaḥ | divó amúṣya śā́sato dívaṃ yáya divāvaso ||

ഹേ ഈഡ്യ (ആരാധ്യ) ഇന്ദ്രാ, മനുഷ്യനിൽ സ്ഥാപിതനായ ഹോതൃ (യജ്ഞപുരോഹിതൻ) നിന്നെ ഇവിടെ ദേവത്വത്തിലേക്കു വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരും. ആ ദ്യൗലോകത്തിന്റെ ആജ്ഞാധികാരക്രമത്തിൽ നിന്നു, പ്രകാശമയ ദ്യൗവിലേക്കു നീങ്ങുക—ഹേ ദിവാവസു—ഞങ്ങളെ ഉയർത്തുന്ന ശക്തിയായി സന്നിഹിതനാകുക.
