Transliteration
áhan vr̥trám r̥cī́ṣama aurṇavābhám ahī́śuvam | himénāvidhyad árbudam ||
Translation
അവൻ വൃത്രനെ—ഋചിയുടെ ദർശനത്തിൽ തീക്ഷ്ണനായവനെ—വധിച്ചു; നെയ്ത വലയിൽ കുടുക്കുന്നവനായ, സർപ്പവേധകനെ തകർത്തു. ഹിമത്തിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണശക്തിയാൽ അവൻ അർബുദനെ ഭേദിച്ചു.
