वीतिहोत्रा कृतद्वसू दशस्यन्तामृताय कम् । समूधो रोमशं हतो देवेषु कृणुतो दुवः ॥

Transliteration

vīti-hótrā kṛtádvasū daśasyántā amṛtā́ya kám | sám ū́dhaḥ romaśáṃ ható devéṣu kṛṇuto dúvaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ വീതിഹോത്രാ—യാഗാർപ്പണപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ സുസഞ്ചാലിതമായവരേ, കൃതദ്വസൂ—സുഘടിത സമ്പത്തുള്ളവരേ; അമൃതത്വത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്ന ആനന്ദത്തെ സ്തുതിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്, സമൂഢ—ഫലവത്തായ ഉദരം ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി, രോമശ—മുളച്ചടഞ്ഞ തടസ്സത്തെ അടിച്ചുതകർത്തു, ദേവന്മാരിൽ ഫലപ്രദമായ സേവനം (ദുവഃ) നിർവഹിക്കുവിൻ.
