इन्द्रो मह्ना रोदसी पप्रथच्छव इन्द्रः सूर्यमरोचयत् । इन्द्रे ह विश्वा भुवनानि येमिर इन्द्रे सुवानास इन्दवः ॥
índro mahnā́ rodasī paprathác cháva índraḥ sū́ryam arocayat | índre ha víśvā bhúvanāni yemire índre suvānā́sa índavaḥ ||
ഇന്ദ്രൻ മഹ്നാ (മഹത്താൽ) രോദസീ (ഇരു ലോകങ്ങൾ/ആകാശം-ഭൂമി) ശവസാ (ബലത്താൽ) വിശാലമാക്കി. ഇന്ദ്രൻ സൂര്യനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇന്ദ്രനിൽ തന്നെയാണ് സർവ്വ ഭുവനങ്ങളും തങ്ങളുടെ യഥോചിത ധാരണ നേടുന്നത്; ഇന്ദ്രനിൽ തന്നെയാണ് സുവാനാസഃ (പിഴിഞ്ഞ) ഇന്ദവഃ—സോമധാരകൾ—പുറപ്പെട്ടു ഒഴുകുന്നത്.
