Sukta 8.27
अज्रे चिदस्मै कृणुथा न्यञ्चनं दुर्गे चिदा सुसरणम् । एषा चिदस्मादशनिः परो नु सास्रेधन्ती वि नश्यतु ॥
ajré cid asmai kṛṇuthā́ ny-àñcanaṃ durgé cid ā́ su-sáraṇam | eṣā́ cid asmād aśániḥ paró nú sā́ asrédhantī ví naśyatu ||
അജ്ര (പഥമില്ലാത്ത വിശാലത)യിലുപോലും അവനു ഉറച്ച മാർഗ്ഗനിർദ്ദേശം ഒരുക്കുവിൻ; ദുര്ഗ (കഠിന കടവ്)യിലുപോലും സുസരണം (സുഗമ ഗതി) രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുവിൻ. ഈ അശനി (ചതയ്ക്കുന്ന പ്രഹാരം) ഞങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു ദൂരെയായി അകറ്റപ്പെടട്ടെ; അശമമായ നാശശക്തി ക്ഷയിച്ചു ലയിച്ചു അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാകട്ടെ.
