नपाता शवसो महः सूनू दक्षस्य सुक्रतू । सृप्रदानू इषो वास्त्वधि क्षितः ॥
Transliteration
napā́tā śávasaḥ máhaḥ sūnū́ dákṣasya sukrátū | sṛprádānū iṣó vā́stv ádhi kṣitáḥ ||
Translation
ഹേ മഹാശവസിന്റെ നപാതാക്കളേ, ദക്ഷ (dakṣa)ന്റെ സത്യപുത്രന്മാരേ, സുക്രതു—ശുഭകർമ്മത്തിൽ പ്രജ്ഞയുള്ളവരേ—ഇഷാ (iṣa)യുടെ വേഗധാരകളെ ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവരേ; ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രേരണകളുടെ വാസസ്ഥാനത്തിന് മേൽ അധിഷ്ഠിതരായി, പോഷകധാരകളിൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വാസം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവിൻ.
