श्रुष्ट्यग्ने नवस्य मे स्तोमस्य वीर विश्पते । नि मायिनस्तपुषा रक्षसो दह ॥
Transliteration
śruṣṭyàgne návasya me stómasya vīra viśpate | ni māyínas tápuṣā rákṣaso daha ||
Translation
ഹേ അഗ്നേ, എന്റെ ഈ പുതിയ സ്തോമം ശ്രവിക്കണമേ; ഹേ വീരാ, ഹേ വിശ്പതേ—ജനങ്ങളുടെ അധിപനേ. നിന്റെ തപുഷാ—താപത്തോടെ—മായിനഃ രക്ഷസഃ, കപടവും മോഹവും കൊണ്ട് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന രക്ഷസുകളെ ചുട്ടു ഭസ്മമാക്കണമേ.
