यः समिधा य आहुती यो वेदेन ददाश मर्तो अग्नये । यो नमसा स्वध्वरः ॥
Transliteration
yáḥ samídhā yá ā́hutī yó védena dadā́śa márto agnáye | yó námasā svadhvaráḥ ||
Translation
സമിധയാൽ, ആഹുതിയാൽ, വേദത്താൽ അഗ്നിക്കു അർപ്പിക്കുന്ന മർത്ത്യൻ; നമസ്കാരത്തോടെ ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ—സ്വധ്വരമായ യജ്ഞം സ്വയം-നിയന്ത്രിതവും ഋജുവുമായവൻ—അഗ്നിയുടെ ഋത-രക്ഷയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു.
