Sukta 8.19
त इद्वेदिं सुभग त आहुतिं ते सोतुं चक्रिरे दिवि । त इद्वाजेभिर्जिग्युर्महद्धनं ये त्वे कामं न्येरिरे ॥
ta íd vedíṃ subhaga ta āhútiṃ te sótuṃ cakrire diví | ta íd vā́jebhir jigyur mahád dhánaṃ ye tvé kā́maṃ nyeriré ||
ഹേ സുഭഗ അഗ്നേ! അവർ നിനക്കായി വേദിയും ആഹുതിയും ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ദിവിയിൽ (പ്രകാശമയ ലോകങ്ങളിൽ) നിനക്കായി സോമ-സവനം—ആനന്ദരസത്തിന്റെ പീഡനം—സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവർ വാജങ്ങളാൽ (പോഷക ശക്തികളാൽ) മഹത്തായ ധനം ജയിക്കുന്നു—തങ്ങളുടെ കാമം (ആത്മാഭിലാഷം) നിന്നിൽ നിക്ഷേപിക്കുന്നവർ.
