प्र मंहिष्ठाय गायत ऋताव्ने बृहते शुक्रशोचिषे । उपस्तुतासो अग्नये ॥
Transliteration
prá maṃhíṣṭhāya gāyata ṛtā́vnē bृहaté śukrá-śociṣe | úpa-stutāso agnáye ||
Translation
അത്യന്ത ദാനശീലനോടു പാടുവിൻ—ഋതാവ്നനോടു, ഋതത്തെ അറിയുകയും ധരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവനോടു; ശുക്രജ്വാലയുള്ള മഹത്തനോടു. സ്തുതിയുമായി സമീപിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങൾ അഗ്നിയെ ഉപസ്തുതിക്കുന്നു.
