विश्वेषामिह स्तुहि होतॄणां यशस्तमम् । अग्निं यज्ञेषु पूर्व्यम् ॥
Transliteration
víśveṣām ihá stuhí hótṝṇāṁ yáśastamam | agníṁ yajñéṣu pū́rvyam ||
Translation
ഇവിടെ എല്ലാ ഹോതൃകളിലും ഏറ്റവും യശസ്സുള്ള അഗ്നിയെ സ്തുതിക്കുവിൻ—യജ്ഞങ്ങളിൽ പ്രാചീനനായും, അർപ്പണയാത്രയിൽ ആദ്യനായും നിലകൊള്ളുന്നവനെ.
