Sukta 7.27
इन्द्रो राजा जगतश्चर्षणीनामधि क्षमि विषुरूपं यदस्ति । ततो ददाति दाशुषे वसूनि चोदद्राध उपस्तुतश्चिदर्वाक् ॥
índro rājā́ jágataś carṣaṇīnā́m ádhi kṣámi víṣu-rūpaṁ yád ásti | táto dadāti dāśúṣe vásūni códád rā́dha úpa-stutaś cid arvā́k ||
ഇന്ദ്രൻ ചര്ഷണിജനങ്ങളുടെ ചലിക്കുന്ന ലോകത്തിന്റെ രാജാവാണ്; ഭൂമിയിൽ വ്യത്യസ്തരൂപങ്ങളായ എല്ലാറ്റിനുമേൽ അവൻ അധി ഭരിക്കുന്നു. ആ അധിപത്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അവൻ ദാശുഷ് (ദാനകർതാവ്)നു വസുക്കൾ നൽകുന്നു; താഴെയിൽ നിന്നുമെങ്കിലും സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോഴും, അവൻ രാധ (ദാനം/ബൗണ്ടി)യെ ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
