Sukta 6.65
इदा हि वो विधते रत्नमस्तीदा वीराय दाशुष उषासः । इदा विप्राय जरते यदुक्था नि ष्म मावते वहथा पुरा चित् ॥
idā́ hí vo vidhaté rátnam ástīdā́ vīrā́ya dāśúṣa uṣāsaḥ | idā́ víprāya járate yád ukthā́ ní ṣmá mā́vate vahathā purā́ cit ||
ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ വിധാതേ—യജ്ഞകർമ്മം ചെയ്യുന്നവന്—നിങ്ങളുടെ രത്നം ഉണ്ട്; ഇപ്പോൾ, ഓ ഉഷസ്സുകളേ, വീരനായ ദാശുഷന് (ദാനശീലന്) വേണ്ടി. ഇപ്പോൾ പ്രായം ചെന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വിപ്രൻ—പ്രേരിതഗായകൻ—ഉക്തങ്ങൾ (സ്തുതിവചനങ്ങൾ) ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ; തീർച്ചയായും, പരിശ്രമിക്കുന്ന മാവതിനും നിങ്ങൾ മുമ്പേ തന്നെ (വരങ്ങൾ) കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്.
