Sukta 3.15
प्र पीपय वृषभ जिन्व वाजानग्ने त्वं रोदसी नः सुदोघे । देवेभिर्देव सुरुचा रुचानो मा नो मर्तस्य दुर्मतिः परि ष्ठात् ॥
prá pī́paya vṛṣabha jínva vā́jān agne tváṃ rodasī naḥ su-dóghē | devébhir deva su-rúcā rucānó mā́ no mártasya dur-matíḥ pári ṣṭhāt ||
വളർത്തുക, ഹേ ശക്തിവൃഷഭനേ; ബലത്തിന്റെ സമൃദ്ധികളെ ഉണർത്തുക. ഹേ അഗ്നേ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ‘രോദസി’ എന്ന രണ്ടു ലോകങ്ങളെ സുദോഘങ്ങളാക്കി—നല്ല പാൽ പകരുന്നവയായി—നീ ആക്കുന്നു. ദേവന്മാരിൽ സുന്ദരപ്രകാശത്തോടെ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്ന ഹേ ദേവാ, മർത്ത്യന്റെ ദുർമതി ഞങ്ങളെ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.
