Sukta 10.73
अश्वादियायेति यद्वदन्त्योजसो जातमुत मन्य एनम् । मन्योरियाय हर्म्येषु तस्थौ यतः प्रजज्ञ इन्द्रो अस्य वेद ॥
aśvā́d iyā́ya-íti yád vádanty ójaso jātám utá manye énam | mányor iyā́ya hármyeṣu tasthau yátaḥ prajajñé índro asya veda ||
അവർ പറയുന്നു—‘അവൻ അശ്വത്തിൽ നിന്നു വന്നു’; അവൻ ഓജസ്സിൽ (ബലത്തിൽ) നിന്നു ജനിച്ചു—എന്നു ഞാൻ അവനെ കരുതുന്നു. അവൻ മന്യുവിൽ (ഇച്ഛാശക്തി/ക്രോധ-ബലം) നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അന്തർമന്ദിരങ്ങളിലെ ഗൃഹങ്ങളിൽ നിലകൊണ്ടു; അവൻ ഏതു ഉറവിടത്തിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ചുവോ—ആ ഉദ്ഭവം ഇന്ദ്രൻ അറിയുന്നു.
