अश्वायन्तो गव्यन्तो वाजयन्तो हवामहे त्वोपगन्तवा उ । आभूषन्तस्ते सुमतौ नवायां वयमिन्द्र त्वा शुनं हुवेम ॥
aśvāyánto gavyánto vājáyanto hávāmāhe tvópagantavā́ u | ābhū́ṣantas te sumatáu návāyāṃ vayám indra tvā́ śunáṃ huvema ||
അശ്വശക്തിയെ തേടിയും, ഗോ-പ്രകാശത്തെ തേടിയും, ബലസമൃദ്ധിയെ തേടിയും—നീ സമീപത്തേക്ക് വരുവാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ഹ്വയിക്കുന്നു. നിന്റെ സദാ പുതുമയുള്ള സുമതിയിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ അലങ്കരിച്ച്, ഹേ ഇന്ദ്രാ, സുഖവും സമൃദ്ധിയും നിറഞ്ഞ നിലയ്ക്കായി ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ ശുഭമായി ഹ്വയിക്കുന്നു.
