सीरा युञ्जन्ति कवयो युगा वि तन्वते पृथक् । धीरा देवेषु सुम्नया ॥
Transliteration
sī́rā yuñjanti kaváyo yugā́ ví tanvate pṛ́thak | dhī́rā devéṣu sumnáyā ||
Translation
കവികളായ ഋഷിമാർ സീര (ഉഴവ്) യോജിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; യുഗങ്ങളെ വേർതിരിച്ച്, ഓരോന്നും അതത് സ്ഥാനത്ത് വിരിച്ചിടുന്നു। ദേവന്മാരിൽ ധീരമായി സ്ഥിരരായി, സുമ്ന—സദ്ഭാവവും കൃപയും—കൊണ്ട് (കർമ്മം) സഫലമാക്കുന്നു॥
