Sukta 1.173
ता कर्माषतरास्मै प्र च्यौत्नानि देवयन्तो भरन्ते । जुजोषदिन्द्रो दस्मवर्चा नासत्येव सुग्म्यो रथेष्ठाः ॥
tā karmā́ṣatarāsmái prá cyautnā́ni devayánto bharante | jujóṣad índro dasmávarcā nā́satyāiva sugmyò ratheṣṭhā́ḥ ||
ദേവയന്തഃ—ദിവ്യതയിലേക്കു ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ—അവനുവേണ്ടി കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ പരിപാകമുള്ള കർമങ്ങളും പ്രച്യൗത്ന (പ്രബല ഉപക്രമം/ശ്രമം)ങ്ങളും മുന്നോട്ടു കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു. ദസ്മവർചാഃ—അദ്ഭുത തേജസ്സുള്ള—ഇന്ദ്രൻ അവയെ ജുജോഷത് (സ്വീകരിച്ചു പ്രസന്നനാകട്ടെ); നാസത്യന്മാരെപ്പോലെ സുഗ്മ്യഃ—ശരിയായ ഗതിയിൽ വേഗമുള്ളവൻ—മറ്റും രഥേഷ്ഠാഃ—രഥത്തിൽ ദൃഢൻ—ആകട്ടെ.
