पीपाय धेनुरदितिॠताय जनाय मित्रावरुणा हविर्दे । हिनोति यद्वां विदथे सपर्यन्त्स रातहव्यो मानुषो न होता ॥
pīpā́ya dhēnúr áditiḥ ṛtā́ya jánāya mitrāvaruṇā havir-dé | hinóti yád vāṁ vidáthē sapáryan sá rā́ta-havyo mā́nuṣo na hótā ||
അദിതി—പോഷിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ധേനു—ഋതത്തെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന ജനത്തിനായി പുഷ്ടിയായി വളരുന്നു; ഹേ മിത്ര-വരുണന്മാരേ, അവൾ ഹവിഷിന്റെ ദാനം നൽകുന്നു. മനുഷ്യ ഹോതൃ വിഡഥ (സഭ)യിൽ നിങ്ങളെ സപര്യ ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ, അവൻ യജ്ഞത്തെ മുന്നോട്ട് പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു—യഥാർത്ഥമായി അർപ്പിച്ച ഹവിഷുള്ള ഹോതൃ.
