कदित्था नॄँ: पात्रं देवयतां श्रवद्गिरो अङ्गिरसां तुरण्यन् । प्र यदानड्विश आ हर्म्यस्योरु क्रंसते अध्वरे यजत्रः ॥
kád itthā́ nṝ́ṃ pā́traṃ devayatā́ṃ śrávadgíro áṅgirasāṃ turaṇyán | prá yad ānáḍ víśa ā́ harmyásyorú kraṃsate adhvaré yajátraḥ ||
എങ്ങനെയോ അവൻ ദേവങ്ങളെ തേടുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ പാത്രമാകുന്നു—അംഗിരസുകളുടെ ഗീതങ്ങൾ കേട്ട് വേഗം പായുന്നവൻ. അവൻ മുന്നേറുമ്പോൾ ജനങ്ങളെ മുന്നോട്ടു നീക്കുന്നു; അധ്വരയജ്ഞത്തിൽ യജ്യൻ കർമത്തിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്ക് വിശാലമായി പാദം വെക്കുന്നു.
