Lamentation in Ayodhya after Daśaratha’s death
स हि नाथस्सदास्माकं तव च प्रभुरात्मवान्।वनं रामो गतश्श्रीमान्विहाय नृपतिश्रियम्।।।।
sa hi nāthaḥ sadāsmākaṃ tava ca prabhur ātmavān |
vanaṃ rāmo gataḥ śrīmān vihāya nṛpatiśriyam ||
കാരണം, ശ്രീമാനും ആത്മസംയമനുമായ രാമൻ—എപ്പോഴും ഞങ്ങളുടെയും നിന്റെയും നാഥനും പ്രഭുവുമായവൻ—രാജ്യശ്രീ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് വനത്തിലേക്ക് പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
Rama, who was always our and your self-possessed master and protector has gone to the forest, indeed, abandoning royal wealth.
