The Sound-Target Tragedy, the Sage’s Curse, and Dasaratha’s Death
तौ पुत्रमात्मन स्स्पृष्ट्वा तमासाद्य तपस्विनौ।निपेततुश्शरीरेऽस्य पिता चास्येदमब्रवीत्।।।।
tau putram ātmanaḥ spṛṣṭvā tam āsādya tapasvinau | nipetatuḥ śarīre 'sya pitā cāsyedam abravīt ||
സ്വന്തം പുത്രന്റെ അടുത്തെത്തി സ്പർശിച്ച ആ രണ്ടു തപസ്വികളും അവന്റെ ശരീരത്തിന്മേൽ വീണു; പിന്നെ അവന്റെ പിതാവ് ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.
