tavāmarasūtaprakhya tartuṃ sāgaragāṃ nadīm | naur iyaṃ puruṣavyāghra tāṃ tvam āroha suvrata || 2.52.9 ||

Translation

ഹേ പുരുഷവ്യാഘ്രാ, ദേവപുത്രസദൃശമായ തേജസ്സുള്ളവനും സുവ്രതനുമായ നീ സാഗരഗാമിയായ ഈ നദി കടക്കുവാൻ ഇതാ ഈ നൗക; അതിൽ കയറുക.
