Transliteration

evam ārta-pralāpāṃs tān vृद्धān pralapato dvijān |

avekṣya sahasā rāmo rathād avatātāra ha ||

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ ആർ‍ത്തമായി വിലപിക്കുന്ന ആ വൃദ്ധ ദ്വിജന്മാരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, രാമൻ ഉടൻ തന്നെ രഥത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങി.
