महाबलानां रुदतां कुर्वतामुदकं पितुः।विज्ञाय तुमुलं शब्दं त्रस्ता भरत सैनिकाः।।।
mahābalānāṃ rudatāṃ kurvatām udakaṃ pituḥ |
vijñāya tumulaṃ śabdaṃ trastā bharatasainikāḥ ||
പിതാവിന് ഉദകക്രിയ അർപ്പിച്ചു കരയുന്ന മഹാബലന്മാർ ഉയർത്തിയ ആ ഘോര കോലാഹലം കേട്ടപ്പോൾ, ഭരതന്റെ സൈനികർ ഭീതിയോടെ വിറച്ചു.
