Sukta 3
अग्ने॒ त्वचं॑ यातु॒धान॑स्य भिन्धि हिं॒स्राशनि॒र्हर॑सा हन्त्वेनम्। प्र पर्वा॑णि जातवेदः शृणीहि क्र॒व्यात् क्र॑वि॒ष्णुर्वि चि॑नोत्वेनम्
agné tvácaṃ yātudhā́nasyá bhindhi hiṃsrā́śanír hárasā hantv enam | prá párvāṇi jātavedas śṛṇīhi krav yā́t kravíṣṇur ví cinotv enam
O Agni, cleave the skin of the Yātudhāna: let the hurtful thunderbolt with vehement force smite him. Break forth his joints, O Jātavedas; let the flesh-eater, flesh-devouring, tear him asunder and strip him away.
അഗ്നേ, യാതുധാനന്റെ ത്വക്ക് പിളർത്തുക; ഹിംസകമായ അശനി ശക്തമായ പ്രഹരത്തോടെ അവനെ അടിച്ചുതകർക്കട്ടെ. ജാതവേദസേ, അവന്റെ സന്ധി-പർവ്വങ്ങൾ തകർക്കുക; ക്രവ്യാത്—മാംസഭോജി, ക്രവിഷ്ണു—മാംസം കീറിത്തിന്നുന്നവൻ—അവനെ കീറിപ്പിരിച്ച് വേർതിരിച്ച് വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞുകളയട്ടെ.
