Sukta 2
अधि॑ ब्रूहि॒ मा र॑भथाः सृ॒जेमं तवै॒व सन्त्सर्व॑हाया इ॒हास्तु॑ । भवा॑शर्वौ मृ॒डतं॒ शर्म॑ यच्छतमप॒सिध्य॑ दुरि॒तं ध॑त्त॒मायुः॑
ádhi brūhi mā́ rabhathāḥ sṛjá imáṃ taváiva sán sárvahāyā ihā́stu | bhávāśárvau mṛḍátaṃ śárma yacchatam apasídhya duritáṃ dhattám ā́yuḥ ||
Pronounce thou over him: seize him not; release this man—being thine, let him abide here, complete in all his years. O Bhava and Śarva, be gracious; grant ye shelter; drive ye away misfortune; set ye fast his life.
അവന്റെ മേൽ ഉച്ചരിക്കൂ: അവനെ പിടിക്കരുത്; ഈ മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടയക്കൂ—അവൻ നിന്റേതുതന്നെ; അവൻ ഇവിടെ തന്റെ എല്ലാ വർഷങ്ങളും പൂർണ്ണമായി കഴിഞ്ഞ് പാർക്കട്ടെ. ഹേ ഭവയും ശർവയും, കരുണ കാണിക്കുവിൻ; അഭയം നൽകുവിൻ; ദുരിതം അകറ്റുവിൻ; അവന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് ദൃഢമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കുവിൻ.
