इन्द्रः। उत् ति॑ष्ठ॒ताव॑ पश्य॒तेन्द्र॑स्य भा॒गमृ॒त्विय॑म्। यदि॑ श्रा॒तं॑ जु॒होत॑न॒ यद्यश्रा॑तं म॒मत्त॑न

IAST Transliteration

út tiṣṭhatā́va paśyaténdrasya bhāgám ṛtvíyam | yádi śrātáṁ juhótana yády áśrātam mamáttana ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Arise; look forth and behold Indra’s portion, the portion that is of the rite. If ye offer what is well-cooked, (then) offer; if what is ill-cooked, then make him glad (therewith).

Translation

ഇന്ദ്രാ! എഴുന്നേൽക്കുക; മുന്നോട്ടു നോക്കി ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ ഭാഗം—ഋത്വിജ്യം (യജ്ഞവിധി) സംബന്ധമായ ഭാഗം—കാണുക. ശ്രാതം (നന്നായി പാകം ചെയ്ത) ഹവി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ അർപ്പിക്കുവിൻ; അശ്രാതം (പൂർണ്ണമായി പാകമാകാത്തത്) ആണെങ്കിൽ അതുകൊണ്ട് അവനെ സന്തോഷിപ്പിക്കുവിൻ.
