Sukta 76
अ॒ग्नेः सा॑न्तप॒नस्या॒हमायु॑षे प॒दमा र॑भे । अ॒द्धा॒तिर्यस्य॒ पश्य॑ति धू॒ममु॒द्यन्त॑मास्य॒तः
agnéḥ sāntapanásyāhám ā́yuṣe padám ā́ rabhé | addhātír yásya páśyati dhūmám udyántam ā́syataḥ ||
Of Agni the scorching I, for life, lay hold upon the station: whose sure disposing one beholds the smoke uprising from his mouth.
അഗ്നിയുടെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന താപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഞാൻ ആയുസ്സിനായി ആ പദം/സ്ഥാനത്തെ പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുന്നു; ആരെക്കുറിച്ച് ഉറപ്പായി അറിയുന്നവൻ അവന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്ന് ഉയരുന്ന പുകയെ വ്യക്തമായി കാണുന്നു.
