वि॒श्वरू॑पां सु॒भगा॑म॒च्छाव॑दामि जीव॒लाम्। सा नो॑ रु॒द्रस्या॒स्तां हे॒तिं दू॒रं न॑यतु॒ गोभ्यः॑
viśvárūpāṃ subhágām ácchā vadāmi jīvalā́m | sā́ no rudrásyā́s tā́ṃ hetíṃ dūráṃ nayatu góbhyaḥ
To the all-formed, the auspicious, the life-bestowing, I utter speech hitherward: may she for us drive far away from the kine that missile of Rudra.
വിശ്വരൂപയായ, സുഭഗയായ, ജീവല (ജീവൻദായിനി) ദേവിയെ ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ വരുവാൻ വാക്ക് ഉച്ചരിക്കുന്നു; അവൾ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കായി ഗോവുകളിൽ നിന്ന് രുദ്രന്റെ ആ ഹേതി (ശസ്ത്രം) ദൂരത്തേക്ക് നീക്കട്ടെ.
