आ यं वि॒शन्तीन्द॑वो॒ वयो॒ न वृ॒क्षमन्ध॑सः । विर॑प्शि॒न् विमृधो॑ जहि रक्ष॒स्विनीः॑

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 6.2.2

ā yáṃ viśántī́ndavo váyo ná vṛkṣám ándhasaḥ | vírapśin ví mṛ́dho jahí rakṣasvínīḥ ||

Him, whom the Soma-drops enter—like birds a tree—(him) of the pressed draught: O wide-handed one, smite apart the hostile powers; slay the demon-women.

സോമബിന്ദുക്കൾ—പക്ഷികൾ മരത്തിലേക്ക് കയറുന്നതുപോലെ—ആരിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നുവോ, ആ പിഴിഞ്ഞ പാനീയത്തിന്റെ (സോമത്തിന്റെ) അധിപനേ: ഹേ വിശാല-ഹസ്തനേ, വൈരിശക്തികളെ പിരിച്ചടിച്ച് പ്രഹരിക്ക; രക്ഷസ്വിനീകളെ (രാക്ഷസീ-സ്ത്രീകളെ) സംഹരിക്ക.
