न भूमिं॒ वातो॒ अति॑ वाति॒ नाति॑ पश्यति॒ कश्च॒न। स्त्रिय॑श्च॒ सर्वाः॑ स्वा॒पय॒ शुन॒श्चेन्द्र॑सखा॒ चर॑न्
ná bhū́miṃ vā́to áti vāti nā́ti páśyati káścana | stríyaś ca sárvāḥ svā́paya śúnaś céndra-sakhā́ carán
Let not the Wind pass over the earth; let no one at all look forth beyond. Cause all the women to fall asleep, and the dog too, Indra’s comrade, as he goes about.
വായു ഭൂമിയുടെ മേൽ കടന്നുപോകാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; ആരും ഒരാളും അതീതമായി നോക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. എല്ലാ സ്ത്രീകളെയും നിദ്രയിൽ ആക്കുക; ഇന്ദ്രന്റെ സഖനായ നായെയും, സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നാലും, നിദ്രയിൽ ആക്കുക.
