नी॒चैः प॑द्यन्ता॒मध॑रे भवन्तु॒ ये नः॑ सू॒रिं म॒घवा॑नं पृत॒न्यान्। क्षि॒णामि॒ ब्रह्म॑णा॒मित्रा॒नुन्न॑यामि॒ स्वान॒हम्
nīcáiḥ padyantām ádhare bhavantu yé naḥ sū́riṃ mághavānaṃ pṛtan-yā́n | kṣiṇā́mi bráhmaṇā́mitrā́n unnayā́mi svā́n ahám
Let them step down low; let them become the lower—who make war upon our patron, the bounteous giver. I waste away the foes by holy power of prayer; I lead our own men upward—aye, I.
ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൂരി—ദാനശൂരനായ മഘവാൻ—അവനോട് യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നവർ താഴേക്ക് ഇറങ്ങട്ടെ; അവർ അധമരാകട്ടെ. ഞാൻ ബ്രഹ്മബലം (മന്ത്രശക്തി) കൊണ്ട് ശത്രുക്കളെ ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ സ്വന്തം ആളുകളെ മേലോട്ടു ഉയർത്തുന്നു—ഞാൻ തന്നെ.
