Sukta 128
ये च॑ दे॒वा अय॑ज॒न्ताथो॒ ये च॑ पराद॒दिः । सूर्यो॒ दिव॑मिव ग॒त्वाय॑ म॒घवा॑ नो॒ वि र॑प्शते
yé ca devā́ áyajan ā́tho yé ca parādadíḥ | sū́ryo dívam iva gatvā́ya maghávā no ví rapśate ||
Both they who sacrificed not—yea, they who cast the rite away—(as) the Sun, as though to heaven he had departed: the Bounteous One doth rend us asunder.
യാഗം ചെയ്യാത്ത ദേവന്മാരും, വിധി (യജ്ഞകർമ്മം) ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചവരും—സൂര്യൻ സ്വർഗത്തിലേക്കു പോയതുപോലെ—ആ മഘവൻ (ഉദാരദാതാവ്) ഞങ്ങളെ പിരിച്ചെറിയുന്നു.
