आयु॑र्वि॒श्वायुः॒ परि॑ पातु त्वा पू॒षा त्वा॑ पातु॒ प्रप॑थे पु॒रस्ता॑त्। यत्रास॑ते सु॒कृतो॒ यत्र॒ त ई॒युस्तत्र॑ त्वा दे॒वः स॑वि॒ता द॑धातु
ā́yur viśvā́yuḥ pári pātu tvā pūṣā́ tvā pātu prápathe purástāt | yátrāsate sukṛ́to yátra tá īyús tátra tvā deváḥ savitā́ dadhātu
May Life, yea universal Life, encompass thee with protection; may Pūṣan guard thee on the forward path, going before. Where the well-doers sit, whither they have departed—there may the god Savitar set thee fast.
ആയു—വിശ്വായു—നിന്നെ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും സംരക്ഷണത്തോടെ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റട്ടെ; പൂഷൻ മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പഥത്തിൽ, മുൻപായി പോകുന്നവനായി, നിന്നെ കാക്കട്ടെ. സുകൃതർ (സത്കർമികൾ) ഇരിക്കുന്നിടത്തും അവർ പോയിടത്തും—അവിടെ ദേവൻ സവിതാവ് നിന്നെ ദൃഢമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കട്ടെ.
